About Me

Burmese psychologist wearing a beige sweater sitting down at a desk and holding a pen

My name is Gabriella Phyu (Win Lei Lei Phyu). I am a clinical psychologist committed to supporting adults as well as parents and children navigating emotional and relational challenges. With over five years of experience across community and private settings, I bring a warm, collaborative, and practical approach to my work with individuals and families.

I support adults experiencing stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions, helping them to build resilience, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful change. I also work closely with parents and caregivers to strengthen family relationships, enhance communication, and support their children’s emotional and behavioural wellbeing.

My practice is grounded in evidence-based therapies, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), with integration of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I aim to create a safe, non-judgemental space where clients of all ages feel heard, respected, and empowered.

I have experience working with neurodiverse children and adults, including those with ADHD and autism, using a strengths-based and family systems approach. Whether I am supporting an adult facing career stress, a parent managing family dynamics, or a child experiencing emotional difficulties, my goal is to walk alongside clients as they work toward greater clarity, connection, and wellbeing.
